Torreperogil is preparing to host a new edition of Barcia Metal Fest 2026 on 1 August, an event already established as one of the leading metal gatherings in Andalusia. The festival, celebrating its twentieth anniversary, once again puts this Jaén town on the national live-music map, drawing fans of the genre and top-level bands.

The festival marks its twentieth anniversary with a line-up bringing together four leading acts from the national and international scene: Firewind, Praying Mantis, Mind Driller and Smoke Riders.

Once again, the organisers have chosen a format that combines established bands with emerging acts, featuring the virtuoso Gus G fronting Firewind and the historic career of British band Praying Mantis. Joining them are the industrial metal of Mind Driller and the live energy of Smoke Riders, who will open the day.
