Callejón Bernardo López, 3, Jaén - 23004
This is one of the halls that were part of what was the Palace of the Constable Iranzo, built in the 15th century. Its interior is covered with a magnificent Mudejar potter, a unique example of this art throughout the city. The late Gothic-style arches gallery also stands out. The palace originally occupied a large extension of the parcelary, whose limits described in the chronicles place it between Maestra Street, Audience Square, Colón Street and Cerón Street, without being known the complete extension that originally covered it. After the death of the Constable he passed to his heirs and was later sold on several occasions. In 1919, its owner, the architect Justino Flórez, sold a part of the grounds of the Condestable Palace to the Spanish Casino and created the one that was known as "Casino Primitiva," carrying out for it the reform works in which a social hall, library and other dependencies were created, as well as the Darymelia Cinema. The whole was later transformed and acquired by the City of Jaén, who installed in part of its units the Municipal Patronato of Culture and Tourism.
