Description

The Almazara of oils CORTIJO LA LABOR SL is born in Puente del Bistro-Baeza in the heart of the province of Jaén from the hands of its owner Juan Félix Ruiz Catena, a neighbor of the town of Baeza, well known for its indistinguishable business trajectory, through our Almazara passes the Guadalquivir river watering those lands and its olive trees that deliver bright green oil with intense fruity aromas of fresh olives. Where their people with patience, dedication and effort each year are able to bring to our mill one of the most important products of our Mediterranean diet and thus our Extra Virgin Olive Oil "HaciENDA LA LAGUNA" is born.

When we begin to molten our green olives in our Almazara we discover how oil begins to form with intense green colors filled with light, herbaceous, bitter and slightly spicy flavors, in turn fruity that are concentrated to give intense aromas to tomato, banana, apple, others like artichoke, green grass and so, slowly they are maturing more and more, until they reach that yellowish green color with sweet and unctuous taste.

This Extra Virgin Olive oil is the only vegetable fat in the world that can be consumed without having to go through chemical processes, it could clearly be said that we have before our eyes and in our hands 100% natural olive oil juice.

Guided visit by the Almazara La Labor to see the process of making extra virgin olive oil La Laguna. Specialized shop with products from the mill. Languages: Spanish, English, French. Visits to individuals and groups daily
