The Literary Routes for the Province of Jaén are complemented by a series of activities and events that allow you to enter deeply into historical events and the life and work of the writers who make up the itinerary.
Events and days
You have up to six highlights in the province to imbue yourself in the cultural and artistic heritage of Jaén through the writers who make up the literary route.
Events that revive the medieval era to pay tribute to Jorge Manrique in Segura de la Sierra and Chiclana de Segura; others that deepen the mystical knowledge of Santa Teresa de Jesus and San Juan de Cruz in Beas de Segura and Ubeda; cultural tributes to Antonio Machado in Baeza; or live recreations of the Civil War such as the Battle of Lopera.
Any of them is an excellent pretext to visit the literary places linked to these authors and enjoy the event itself.
