In the month of May, the "Fiesta de las Flores" (Festival of Flowers) is celebrated in honour of Villargordo's patron saint, the Virgen del Amor Hermoso, with a lively Cultural Week and night-time open-air dances centred mainly around the promenade. In July, the descent and ascent from his hermitage to the parish church of the patron saint, the Cristo de la Salud, draws large numbers of Villargordo residents around his devotional image, with the traditional "pesos" (weighings) repeated every evening from 28 July in front of the throne, where children and adults are weighed on a Roman scale before donating an amount equivalent to that year's price of wheat.

In Torrequebradilla, meanwhile, patron saint festivities are held in honour of San Marcos, with the custom of processing on 25 April, the feast day of the evangelist saint, alongside the images of San Marcos and San Francisco de Paula, a large ring-shaped cake made with almonds and decorated with coloured ribbons, which, once the procession has ended, is auctioned off and enjoyed by those present.

On the eve of San Antón — 17 January — Villargordo celebrates with the traditional bonfires as night falls, where homemade chorizo and morcilla (blood sausage) can be enjoyed around the fire, before, the following day, doing the traditional "rounds" around the hermitage to plead for the saint's protection over domestic animals.

In mid-May, and since 1968, farmers and livestock breeders honour their patron saint, San Isidro, carrying him in procession and pilgrimage to the spot known as "Las Piedras de Eulogio", where a lively day of community gathering is held.

On 2 February: locals gather in neighbourhoods, streets or the Town Hall square around bonfires, sharing food and using the fire to roast potatoes and sardines. The Town Hall makes hot chocolate and hands out cakes. To attract good luck, some practise the tradition of jumping over the fire.

The main festival is held on 1 May, the feast of San José Obrero (Saint Joseph the Worker). Over the course of the festivities, there are sports tournaments, cultural and religious activities, street parades, open-air dances, and the typical stalls along Paseo del Ayuntamiento.

On 15 May, the feast of the patron saint of farmers, patron saint festivities are held in Campillo del Río. They last a week and include recreational, sporting and cultural activities, as well as the traditional stalls and open-air dances.

Over two or three days in the second week of August, chess and dominoes tournaments are held, along with traditional dish competitions and children's games; typical food stalls are set up, and there are evening open-air dances. During these festivities, tribute is paid to the town's oldest female resident, who is presented with a bouquet of flowers and invited to take part in the procession.

He is the town's patron saint, whose feast day includes a solemn procession, venerating one of his relics, which is shared with the neighbouring town of Higuera de Calatrava.

Since the 1940s, the townspeople have held a pilgrimage in honour of San Isidro, patron saint of farmers. The pilgrimage takes place at the site known as El Caño, a natural spring that once supplied the town's water, where a hermitage was later built in the saint's honour. The organisation of this pilgrimage, along with the accompanying reception featuring wine, soft drinks and pork cold cuts offered to those present, is the responsibility of the Brotherhood of Farmers and Livestock Breeders.
