Festivities in Honour of San Isidro Labrador
Description
Held on the Sunday closest to 15 May, on the banks of the Guadiel river. Pilgrims make the journey (three kilometres separate the town from the meadow) on horseback and in decorated carriages, led by the image of the saint. In the afternoon, after a communal lunch in a festive atmosphere, it is customary for participants to head to the "chaparro de los músicos" to dance pasodobles. In the evening, with the arrival at Guarromán and the presentation of prizes to the best floats, riders and most veteran farmers, this day in the countryside comes to an end.
