Tourism on the road is an increasing international trend, especially in this post-covid era. Moving by motorhome is synonymous with traveling with the house on the slopes enjoying the tranquility in unique environments.
It allows you to know destinations in a different way and enjoy a truly unique experience. For some travelers it is a sustainable way of travel that seeks to be in contact with the environment and discover many places on a single trip. For others, it's a lifestyle.. Freedom and natural environments traveling in camper and motorhome vans.
If for nothing stands out the province of Jaén is for having four natural parks full of particularly attractive routes and sites, cities heritage of humanity, culture and tradition, history and gastronomy linked to the AOVE.
Not to forget that it is one of the European regions with the highest density of castles in addition to the stage of two of the most influential battles in the history of Spain: the battle of Bailén, in 1808 between the French Empire of Napoleon and the Kingdom of Spain, and the battle of Navas de Tolosa, in 1212.
DISCOVERS
From Despeñacolos to Ubeda and Baeza, World Heritage Cities
If you travel in the fall you will have the opportunity to hear one of the wonders of nature: the deer's berrhea. Here you can stay at the Camping de Despeñacolos, in Santa Elena. From here you can also discover Sierra Morena, its unique fauna and flora. You can do activities to observe birds or lynches, among many other species. We recommend a stop in Baños de la Encina, a tourist municipality and one of the most beautiful villages in Spain. By just seeing the figure of his castle from the horizon you will want to come close to discover his history and heritage. The history of the settlers and mining in La Carolina and Guarroman; or the mining landscapes of Linares, its bullring or its famous bulldozer are some of the things that await you if you continue with the route. The last stop is in Ubeda and Baeza, World Heritage Cities. To visit them is to discover the most beautiful Renaissance monumental sets in Spain. A reflection of the richness of the 16th century, which has left us numerous palaces, churches and master buildings reflecting the Renaissance splendor. Ubeda and its famous Plaza Vázquez de Molina, the Sacra Capilla del Salvador, the Palacio del Deán Ortega or the Sinagogue del Agua. Baeza with the Plaza del Populo, the Cathedral of the Nativity, the Palace of Jabalfifth or the Old University of Baeza. To sleep, both cities have overnight areas where to spend one or several nights and discover their magic.
