This portal may offer services that require the provision of personal data, in which case the use and processing thereof will be indicated. Such data will be used in the manner, for the purpose, and with the limitations and rights set forth in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter GDPR), as well as in Organic Law 3/2018 of December 5 on the Protection of Personal Data and guarantee of digital rights.

In compliance with Article 24 of the GDPR, the Personal Data Protection Policy of the Provincial Council of Jaén and its institutional public sector was approved by Resolution of the President of the Provincial Council No. 112, dated April 1, 2026.
In compliance with Article 37 of the GDPR and Article 34 of the Organic Law on the Protection of Personal Data and guarantee of digital rights, Resolution of the President No. 1144, dated September 16, 2021, designates the General Secretariat of this Provincial Council of Jaén as the Data Protection Officer, who can be contacted via email at: dpd@dipujaen.es.

In compliance with Royal Decree 311/2022, of May 3, which regulates the National Security Framework (ENS), the Information Security Policy, approved by Resolution of the President No. 76, dated January 31, 2019, is made public.
Pursuant to the Information Security Policy of the Provincial Council, the Information Security Committee was appointed, whose composition was approved by Resolution of the President No. 436, dated June 15, 2022.

Data Controller

The Data Controller is the Provincial Council of Jaén (Diputación Provincial de Jaén), represented by its President. Pursuant to the provisions of Article 37 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Secretariat of the Corporation has been designated as the Data Protection Officer.

To exercise the rights provided therein, data subjects may at any time exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, withdrawal of consent, and data portability by submitting the corresponding form found under the heading “Data Protection” at the bottom of the Electronic Headquarters website of the Provincial Council of Jaén through the General Electronic Registry, or by sending it to the email address: dpd@dipujaen.es (exclusively for personal data protection inquiries).

Purpose of Processing

To manage registration and, where applicable, services requested through the Jaén Paraíso Interior Portal of the Provincial Council of Jaén.
Data will be retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which they were collected and, where applicable, to determine any possible liabilities that may arise from said purpose and the processing of the data. The provisions of archive and documentation regulations shall apply.

Legal Basis

In accordance with the provisions of Article 6.1 of the GDPR and Article 6 of Organic Law 3/2018, the legal basis for processing is:

a) The data subject has given consent to the processing of their personal data for this purpose: managing registration and, where applicable, the services requested through the Jaén Paraíso Interior Portal.

Recipients of Disclosures or Transfers

The personal data contained in this request will only be transferred to third parties, where applicable, to manage the services requested through the portal.

No international data transfers are foreseen.

Rights

Data subjects may at any time exercise the rights set forth in Articles 15 et seq. of the GDPR, as well as Articles 12 et seq. of Organic Law 3/2018, by submitting the corresponding form found under the heading “Data Protection” at the bottom of the Electronic Headquarters website of the Provincial Council of Jaén through the General Electronic Registry, or by sending it to the email address: dpd@dipujaen.es. These rights are:

• Right of access: to obtain confirmation from the data controller as to whether or not personal data concerning them is being processed, and, where that is the case, access to the personal data and information regarding purposes, categories of data, and recipients.
• Right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal (Art. 13.2(c) GDPR).
• Right to rectification: to obtain without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
• Right to erasure of personal data without undue delay, except where legal exceptions apply.
• Right to restriction of processing, under the circumstances provided in Art. 18 GDPR.
• Right to data portability: to receive their data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.

Upon receipt of the request, the Provincial Council of Jaén will respond within one month, which may be extended by two further months where necessary, taking into account the complexity and number of the requests, notifying the extension within one month of receipt.

If the request is submitted by electronic means, the information will be provided by electronic means where possible, unless otherwise requested by the data subject.
