Taste the liquid gold of Jaén hosted by Hotel Torres I
Description
The participants of this experience will discover Jaén's olive tradition, combining the region's natural and cultural heritage. The day begins with a guided tour of the almazara located next to the hotel, where they will enter the cultivation of the olive tree and the process of making olive oil or, as they call it, its "liquid gold." In this process you can enjoy and at the same time appreciate all the effort required to extract this liquid gold, which is so beneficial to health. They will also learn about local varieties and enjoy an expert-led oil tasting, accompanied by handmade bread. After this immersion into the oil culture, participants will move to the Torres I Hotel to enjoy a tasting menu made with local products. Each dish reflects the flavors of the earth, and everything will be accompanied by wines or aromatic infusions. The experience culminates with a small gift: a minidosis of olive oil to bring the flavors of Jaén home. This activity promises to connect the attendees with the essence of the culture and nature of the region of Las Villas. * A minimum of 25 persons and a maximum of 50 persons are established to carry out the activity. * Subject to availability in other languages.
