Hotel Oleum Andújar
The OLEUM Hotel is an intimate accommodation, located in the historic center of the city with its own parking, in an eclectic building early in the 20th century with a central glazed courtyard around which the rooms are distributed.
Decorated with great works of art of painting, sculpture, grating and decorative objects exposed and for sale. It covers the four floors of the building and has a restaurant, lobby, multi-purpose room, library and solarium on terrace.
The Hotel "OLEUM" is a mansion built in 1924 by the banker Francisco Rueda as a family residence in Andújar, a gateway to the Natural Park "Sierra de Andújar." The city is home to a rich historical and artistic heritage and celebrates several first-order multitudes of the year such as the Romeria de la Virgen de la Cabeza, Easter, Andújar Flamenca, Anducab and much more.
The author's gastronomic restaurant "Refugio" is located in the beautiful basement of the S. XVI of the building. The kitchen is directed by chef Pablo Dueñas and subchef Olmo Crespo and the Sala by Ángel Fernández, sumilier and head of room.
Through the dining room there is access to an anti-aircraft shelter, discovered casually in the hotel's reform in 2022 to 7 m underground and built in 1937 in the heart of the Civil War, as the palacete was the residence of Republican Army officers.
