Patron Saint Festivities of the Virgen de Belén
Description
Held from 14 to 19 August. These are the main festivities and the ones most eagerly awaited by residents. The date was moved from October to the current one in August so that those living away from the town could attend. The Virgin is taken up to the hermitage on Saturday in a procession beginning at 10:00 pm, passing through the town's streets before climbing up to the hermitage, where a Salve is sung. On Sunday, the procession is repeated, lasting an estimated four hours.
