He is the Co-Patron Saint of the town. Three days of festive and religious events are held, during which the images of San Marcos and Nuestra Señora de los Dolores are carried in procession through the town. The image of San Marcos is carried on the 25th, and that of the Virgin on the 26th.

A secular festival that had died out and was revived a few years ago, when the saint was carried in procession and, improvised, mounted on a tractor, accompanied by the townspeople to a nearby pond, where a Mass was held in his honour. On the way back to the church, some townspeople brought food and drink, others brought tables and music, and this is how, year after year, the pilgrimage of San Isidro in Larva has become established.

On 16 July, the patron saint festivities are held in honour of the Virgen del Carmen, during which it is also a well-established mountain tradition for young men to run with young bulls.

Held in the hamlets of Arroyo Frío and El Palmar. 

Marked by one of the oldest traditions: the Canto de la Aurora, or simply La Aurora. This involves a group of people, the “auroros”, setting out at dawn accompanied by musical instruments to walk the streets of La Guardia singing, calling the brotherhood's members to prayer.

Its origins are linked to farming and the blessing of harvests and crops.

He is the patron saint of La Guardia, and this is the most cherished festival among residents, especially those who once emigrated and return to be with their families during these celebrations. Held on 20 January, running from the 19th to the 22nd. It is a festival of agricultural origin, and tradition once involved carrying the saint's image out to the threshing floors, where the grain harvest was threshed.

One of the most renowned in the province of Jaén.

Patron saint of La Carolina. Held on the last weekend of November. The tradition of raffling off a live pig after the celebration of the Eucharist continues to this day.

Held since the start of this century in honour of the Santísimo Cristo de la Misericordia, Patron Saint of the city. Monumental floral arches are erected, fireworks displays are held, along with popular altars featuring crosses of flowers. The Brotherhood stalls are a tradition, where sevillanas are danced and delicious tapas enjoyed. The Holy Christ, accompanied by thousands of people, travels through most of the town, with residents making offerings of firecrackers, fireworks, and offerings of flowers or wheat.
