The Beas de Segura Aerodrome is a private aerodrome, owned by the City of Beas de Segura, located in the area known as "El Cornicabral," municipal term of Beas de Segura, in the province of Jaén, autonomous community of Andalusia, 6 km from Beas de Segura, in the N-322.

The opening of the new mill in 2014 and subsequent opening in September 2015 was a commitment to oleoturism as an instrument for diversification of the traditional business model, but also as a pedagogical tool, to spread the culture of olive oil and to disseminate the excellence of AOVE, against other fats.

The new facilities were designed with a view to their tourist function, promoting the compatibility between the oil extraction and bottling activity and the possibility of visiting, oil tasting, tasting, participating in the processes, interpreting and educating about the production of the oil, about its organoleptic and pharmaceutical properties, with a store and restaurant. It should be noted as a milestone that more than 1,000 farmers bet on tourism as a tool for productive diversification and prescription and health education of AOVE.

Picualia is well positioned as a reference in Oleoturismo thanks to its services and its strategic location, on foot of the A-4 motorway, exit 299. Premioned by AEMO 2015-2016, as the best mill in Spain and certified by the SICTED, in Tourist Quality. Its innovative facilities offer a complete oleoturistic experience, where all kinds of events, guided tours, tasting, tasting and, ultimately, a unique experience that inculcates the rich culture of the olive tree.

Picualia offers a catalogue with 18 tourist packages, in which the experiences of AOVE tourism go further, completing with historical tours, cultural connotations, sensations of walking with braves, flora and varied fauna, among many other activities, all accompanied by tastings of the best dishes made with our best AOVE.

We offer a guided tour to an old vineyard 60 years old, in glass system and with a planting frame of 3 x 3 meters. In addition, the exploitation - family heritage - still maintains a typical house to safeguard the grape from theft. You will know our history, the management of the culture through its life cycle and how we prepare our grapes for marketing. And if you come in September, you can taste our newly collected grapes and prepare your own grape box to take it home.

Olive oil cosmeticswith a very wide range of products, such as soaps, moisturizing creams, hand creams, etc., from commercial houses such as Piel de Oliva de Baeza, Cosmetica Olivo de Sabiote, or Herboliva de Orcera.

In addition to the commercial work, in the Abacería, a pedagogical, promotional, informative and advisory work is carried out to the world of oil that aims to value our main economic asset.
