Cortijo El Soto is a rural house that offers accommodation for 14 people. It is located to the north-east of the province of Jaén and 900 m above sea level, being an area of sotoscala, next to the Natural Park Sierras de Cazorla, Segura and the Villas, and olive tree par excellence.

Nearby the Cortijo El Soto you will find nearby areas such as the water cave, natural pozas and vultures behind the house in a challenging limestone wall. Just 9 km away. from the distance of the facilities is the town of Beas de Segura, perhaps little known and yet worthy of its history.

They also have La Casita de la Huerta, a multi-purpose room built next to the stream in full nature, in an idyllic environment of valleys and mountains, where you can organize meditation activities and workshops, Qi gong (chi-kung) or any other activity for groups.

The accommodation has an ecological self-consumption garden and a refreshing swimming pool (natural pool).

It is an ancient monastery of Basil monks, Eremite, in the 15th century. After the disamortizations of the Enlightenment, in the 18th century, it became an Andalusian farmhouse and cortijo.

In respect of historical vestiges, it was reformed in 1993 and 2019 / 2020, with all the current amenities of habitability.

Hinojares is characterized by being located in a privileged environment. In the Sierra de Cazorla and next to the Altiplano of Granada, so the range of possibilities in terms of places of interest is wide and varied. It is a great contrast of landscapes: high mountain in the Summits of the Sierra del Pozo, water and bathing areas as in the reservoir of the Bolera, Cueva del Agua, Río Guadalanimín, Arroyo Guazaljanco, Castril with its river and reservoir, desert around the Valle del Río Guadiana Menor, stunning natural views in the Lirio, Peña de Quesada, the Escalón. Some of these destinations are 10 minutes away and all within half an hour.
