Fiesta de las Cruces (Across the Province)
Description
The Fiesta de las Cruces is one of the major festive events of May in the province of Jaén. Every spring, our province dresses up for this celebration with a long popular tradition. It is also one of the religious commemorations that best combine tradition, culture and enjoyment. From Alcalá la Real to Alcaudete, from Cazalilla to Jimena (with its distinctive “tíos de ricia”), taking in Úbeda, Linares, Baeza and the capital, Jaén, the Fiesta de la Cruz is already firmly established on the province's festive calendar.
