Miguel Moral and Julia Moya, owners of La Taberna de Miguel, raised from nowhere, ten years ago, a small and cheap space, a family business where the product of Jaén and the affection placed in the fires were the saint and sign that it marked its way in the sometimes complicated world of gastronomy.

Many years of experience in the sector supported them, experiences that turned completely into making their little tavern a place full of charm where the only purpose was to offer everyone who crossed our door the best of our land: the most rooted and traditional jiennese cuisine treated with exquisite taste.

At 1400 meters of altitude you will find the restaurant of the Parador de Cazorla, the highest of the Natural Park Sierras de Cazorla, Segura and Las Villas. Here the views are spectacular and the cuisine exquisite. You will enjoy seasonal hunting dishes, such as the red wine boar and grilled deer steps and our specialities: Tararines with Rabbit and Mint, Lomo de Venado, Trucha a la Serrana and Gachas Dulces with Matalauva. To make the different dishes and desserts of our card we also use other products of the area such as figs, nuts, thyme, rosemary, membrillo, almonds or plums, which are certainly the secret of the taste of our recipes. Incoming such as the perdiz, mollejas with artichokes, pure sheep's cheese, cochinillo kidneys roasted to the coal and mist and swollen asparagus are some of the many who can start a pleasant lunch, to continue to taste juicy lamb chops, an Iberian dam, an ox's loin or an inflated hake.

Our desserts also come mainly from the wood oven. Chocolate and cheese cake, bacon from the sky, caramel pioneers, grilled apples with membillo and many more sweets typical of our region. All this was irrigated with one of our wines and some liquor from our people like Risol, made by this house.

The Restaurant & Bistro Casa Alfonso X became part of the Noche de Ronda Group in 2020.
