For more than two decades, November has become an unmissable date for mushroom and fungi enthusiasts. Beyond their ecological value, these are a highly prized delicacy of mountain cuisine. The event's programme includes talks by experienced speakers, guided walks in the mountains, and gastronomic tastings.
Since 2019, Música en Segura has become a festival with two editions a year: one in spring and the other on the doorstep of winter. This festival of musical gems is held in Segura de la Sierra, a member of the network of the Most Beautiful Villages in Spain. The concerts, in turn, are held at various sites and monumental spots across the Sierra de Segura, including the Jesuit Church, the Arab Baths, El Campillo, Las Herrerías, the village of Los Royos, the cooperative or theatre in Orcera, and the threshing floor of Moralejos.
The Sierra de Segura, with the imposing El Yelmo peak as its backdrop, serves as the setting for the “El Yelmo” International Air Festival, considered one of the leading free-flight events in Europe thanks to the excellent flying conditions it offers pilots from many different countries.

Santiago Pontones holds the Sierra de Segura TrailWeekend, which brings together four Trail Running categories: an Ultra Trail of more than 100K, a Mountain Marathon of more than 50K, the 32K stage of the Jaén provincial circuit, and a short-distance mini-trail of just over 12K. The race runs right through the heart of the Sierra de Segura, and stands as a benchmark for the variety of landscapes it passes through. Finishing the race earns 5 points towards the Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc.
The Oppidum of Puente Tablas (Jaén) and the Cueva de la Lobera (Castellar) host a re-enactment of the autumn equinox ritual. This activity is part of the "Que Vienen los Íberos" programme, within the Journey Back to Iberian Times tourism initiative.

The Battle of Las Navas de Tolosa is a world-famous historical event, recalled by the March of the Three Kings. The only way to truly discover what happened during this battle is to walk the route on foot, gaining access to these sites steeped in history.
Sabiote relives the splendour of the Renaissance, decorating its castle of the Order of the Knights of Calatrava. Streets and squares become a great stage full of music, dance and performances. Horses are the other great stars of the festivities, thanks to their well-known races.
